Paul began his insurance career as a Fraud Investigator and Special Disaster Team member with State Farm in 1990, after a stint as a Police Officer with the Baltimore County PD. He started his own Erie Insurance Agency in Maryland in 1999. After selling that Agency and moving his family to Charlottesville, VA in 2005, he purchased Creasy Insurance, also an Erie Agency. In 2020, he purchased Colson and Dickie Insurance in Glen Allen, VA when Gavin Dickie and Joe Witte retired. Paul is from the Washington DC and Baltimore areas and attended the University of Maryland and graduated from the University of Baltimore.With over 30 years of Insurance experience, Paul takes pride in helping his existing clients with their insurance needs as a trusted Insurance Advisor.   He also welcomes new clients and businesses to the Agency by means of a comprehensive consultation, to make sure they are properly covered.   Paul has 2 sons and a daughter who are grown and on their own.  In his spare time, he enjoys most sports, traveling, biking and anything outdoors.

Elizabeth joined Colson and Dickie in August of 2022 as an agent and is quickly learning about the insurance industry. She got her Property and Casualty license in January 2020 and strives to share her insurance knowledge with our insureds and provide excellent customer service.

When she isn’t serving clients, she enjoys going to the river and taking walks with her dog and partner.

Lee joined Colson and Dickie in June of 2023 and brings over 10 years of insurance experience. She holds her Property & Casualty and Life and Health licenses. She previously worked with Paul Coleman at Coleman Creasy Insurance. She strives to share her insurance knowledge with our customers and provide them with superior service.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son and daughter.
